How it works
How we plan your Tanzania safari
One team plans every step, from Nairobi or Arusha.
Choose your route
Pick the parks, climbs and pace that suit you.
Arrive in Arusha
Fly into Kilimanjaro Airport or transfer by road from Nairobi.
Time it to the herds
Where possible, we plan your route around the migration.
Add a climb
Finish with Kilimanjaro or Mount Meru if you have the time.
Planning your Tanzania safari
A few practical notes before you travel.
When to go
June to October is dry and ideal for game viewing. January and February bring calving season to the southern Serengeti.
Entry requirements
Check current visa rules before you travel. A yellow fever certificate may be requested if you arrive from Kenya.
What to pack
Layers for chilly crater mornings, a dust scarf, a sun hat and a camera with a long lens.
Money
US dollars are widely accepted for tips and extras. Bring newer, undamaged notes.
