Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply when you book a safari with Regal Tracks Safaris and when you use our website.
Last updated 15 October 2026
Legal documents
These terms apply when you book a safari with Regal Tracks Safaris and when you use our website. Please read them before you book. By making a booking, you accept them on behalf of everyone travelling in your group.
About these terms
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Regal Tracks Safaris, Gateway Mall, Syokimau, Kenya. “You” means the person making the booking and every traveller named on it. “Safari” or “tour” means any trip, day trip, trek or other service we arrange for you.
These terms work together with our Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy, and with any specific conditions listed in your tour details or quote.
Making a booking
- Send us an enquiry through our website, by email or on WhatsApp, and we will prepare a quote and itinerary for you.
- Your booking is confirmed only when we have received your deposit and sent you written confirmation by email. Paying alone does not confirm a booking, because lodges, permits and vehicles must be secured first.
- The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for sharing these terms and all trip information with the rest of the group.
- Please check your confirmation carefully and tell us straight away about any mistakes in names, dates or other details.
Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in your quote, in the currency stated there. Unless your quote says otherwise, they include only the services listed in it.
- A deposit is due to confirm your booking. The deposit amount and the date your balance is due are shown on your invoice.
- If your balance is not paid on time, we may treat the booking as cancelled by you, and the charges in our Cancellation Policy will apply.
- Bank and transfer charges are paid by the person sending the money, so that we receive the full amount invoiced.
- Until your booking is paid in full, prices may change if government taxes, park fees or permit costs rise. We will tell you about any change before asking you to pay it.
Changes and cancellations
If you need to change or cancel your safari, our Cancellation Policy explains how to tell us, what it costs and how refunds work. If we have to change or cancel your safari, the same policy sets out your options.
Passports, visas and health
- Every traveller needs a passport valid for at least six months after the trip ends, with enough blank pages.
- You are responsible for getting the visas or electronic travel authorisations needed for each country you visit, including Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
- Some destinations require proof of vaccination, such as a yellow fever certificate. Please check health requirements with your doctor or a travel clinic well before you travel.
- We cannot be responsible for costs or missed services if you are refused entry because of missing or incorrect documents.
Travel insurance
We strongly recommend that every traveller has travel insurance covering cancellation, medical treatment, emergency evacuation and personal belongings for the full length of the trip.
Your safari
- Itineraries can change on the ground. Our guides may adjust routes and timings because of weather, road conditions, park rules or animal movements, always with your safety and experience in mind.
- Wildlife is wild. We plan for the best sightings, but we cannot guarantee that you will see particular animals.
- Accommodation and vehicles. If a lodge, camp or vehicle named in your itinerary becomes unavailable, we will provide an alternative of a similar standard.
- Special requests. We pass dietary, room and other requests to our partners, but we cannot guarantee that every request will be met.
Your responsibilities
- Follow the instructions of your guide and the rules of every park, reserve and lodge you visit.
- Respect wildlife, local communities and other travellers.
- Tell us before you book about any medical condition or mobility need that could affect your trip.
- If a traveller’s behaviour puts others at risk, we may end that person’s participation in the safari without a refund.
Our responsibility
- We take care in choosing the lodges, camps, transport and other partners that provide parts of your safari. These partners are independent businesses with their own terms.
- We are not responsible for loss, injury, damage or delay caused by your own actions, by a third party not connected with your safari, or by events beyond our control.
- As far as the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the services affected.
- Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Kenyan law that cannot be excluded.
Events beyond our control
We are not liable for failing to provide a service because of events we could not reasonably foresee or avoid, such as extreme weather, natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, public health emergencies or government action. If such an event affects your safari, we will work with you to find the best available option, as set out in our Cancellation Policy.
Complaints
If something is not right during your safari, please tell your guide or call us straight away so we can try to fix it while you are still travelling. If the problem is not resolved, email info@regaltrackssafaris.com as soon as possible after your trip with the details, and we will work with you towards a fair outcome.
Using our website
- We work to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date, but descriptions, photos and prices are a guide only. Your quote and confirmation are what count.

Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. If a dispute arises, we will first try to resolve it with you directly and in good faith. If that is not possible, the dispute will be decided by the courts of Kenya.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page on the date of your booking is the one that applies to that booking.
