4 Days Into the Wild Kenya Expedition

You are met on arrival and transferred to your hotel to settle in. If there is time, an afternoon city tour gives you a quick sense of Nairobi: the centre, the main shopping streets, and the churches, mosques and temples that sit close together here. Swahili and English are both spoken everywhere. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast your driver-guide takes you to the Giraffe Centre, where the raised platform brings you level with the Rothschild’s giraffes and you can feed them by hand. Afterwards you continue to Bomas of Kenya for the afternoon performance, with songs and dances drawn from communities across the country. Overnight at your hotel.

Breakfast and a full safari briefing from your guide, then you set off for the Maasai Mara. The drive stops at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and for lunch in Narok. A game drive on arrival gets the safari going properly, followed by dinner and overnight at the lodge.

There is an optional Maasai village visit after breakfast, paid at the village. You then drive back to Nairobi with lunch en route, arriving in the evening for a drop at your hotel or the airport.
